The 3rd annual Love the Land Festival will be held at the Cresset Center on September 26th, 2026! This will be an opportunity to celebrate the agricultural heritage of this region, while participating and imagining into the future of the Cresset center as a community sanctuary of biodiversity and culture. In 2022 the Henry H. Uhrich Farm succeeded in attaining a conservation easement, ensuring that this land will remain an agricultural and ecological space into the future as the surrounding area becomes increasingly developed. This autumn festival invites all ages who see value in such a space to experience it and what it offers for the community. A farm tour will introduce attendants to the land, crops, animals, and history of the Historic Henry H. Uhrich Farm. Those who are looking for a fun challenge can sign up for the Hay-bale bucking competition to show off their strength and skills. Guests will be able to purchase delicious meals from a local food truck which will be onsite while enjoying live music. There will be interactive opportunities to create art and have fun with water, appropriate for all ages. We hope to celebrate this moment with you!
